Creature Description

Hailing from the colorful (and slightly chaotic) Planet Blib in the Glorp Nebula, Familia is a family of wide-eyed wanderers with a knack for, well… staring. Not exactly the brightest beings in the cosmos, Familia isn’t known for deep thoughts or grand cosmic plans. Instead, they’re easily fascinated by just about anything—especially new sights and sounds.

On Blib, these beings spend their days huddled together, observing the universe with innocent wonder, captivated by anything that moves or makes noise. Now, somehow, they’ve set their gaze on us, watching our every move with wide, uncomprehending eyes. Are they looking for food? A new home? Or just trying to figure out what humans are all about? The truth is, they’re not really sure either.

Add Familia to your wall, and enjoy the amusing, slightly baffled gaze of these harmless intergalactic onlookers. They may not be the sharpest beings in the universe, but they sure know how to make a statement.

WHAT LURKS BETWEEN THE STARS

What Lurks Between The Stars is the creative universe of Mark Hanlon, artist and award-winning designer.

Fueled by a lifelong obsession with sci-fi, fantasy, and horror, Mark is also a dedicated board game and TTRPG enthusiast, proudly curating a small (but highly strategic) shelving unit.

By day, he runs WARP, a boutique textile design studio crafting bespoke fabric art for interiors around the world.

By night, he dives into his passion for the strange and surreal, creating paintings, textiles, and prints inspired by the weird, wonderful, and the things that gibber and squirm in the darkest corners of the cosmos.
